Emergency Exit Seats

Turkish Airlines Seat Selection Policy
Pet Turkish Airlines seat selection policy:
- The standard seat selection on international Turkish Airlines reservations for Economy Class Extra Legroom and Emergency Exit seats can be made for a fee after Jan. 1, 2021—from 355 days to 26 hours before departure. Seat selection is free within 26 hours of boarding.
- For international and domestic Turkish Airlines reservations, seats will be randomly assigned during the check-in process to passengers who do not purchase a seat for the domestic segment up to 24 hours before their flight.
- On domestic Turkish Airlines reservations:
- Standard Economy Class Seats for ExtraFly and PremiumFly will available be free of charge until 90 minutes before departure.
- Standard Economy Seats for EcoFly will be available for a fee up to 6 hours before departure. Passengers who have not purchased a seat until 6 hours before departure will be randomly assigned a seat during check-in.
- Emergency Exit Seats and Extra Legroom Seats will be available for all packages for a fee until 6 hours before departure.

How to Book a Stopover on Turkish Airlines
The Turkish Airlines stopover program entitles you to a free stopover in Istanbul on most tickets and city pairs (listed below)—with a complimentary hotel stay. If you fulfill the stopover requirements (incl. visa), the stopover package is a great way to add value to your itinerary and spend a day or two in Istanbul.
How an Istanbul stopover works
If you can get a good deal on your Turkish Airlines flight, you can book a multi-city trip for the same price as a normal round trip, as long as Istanbul is included in the middle. Economy Class passengers are entitled to a free one-night stay in a four-star hotel in Istanbul, whereas Business Class passengers can get a free two-night stay at a five-star hotel.

- Both inbound and outbound flights must be through Istanbul.
- The free accommodation is available only for round-trips.
- You can avail of the free accommodation either on the outbound or return journey.

- It’s a good idea to keep the transit duration between flights at least 20 hours.
- You can avail of the free accommodation only on Turkish Airlines flights starting with 235.
