To make Korean Air reservations online, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to KoreanAir.com 
  2. Enter your travel requirements, such as:
    1. The From and To airports (i.e., departure and arrival airports)
    2. Your Boarding date
    3. Your travel class
    4. Check the Flexible Dates option
      (if you’re flexible about your travel dates) 
  3. Hit the blue search icon
  4. Follow the prompts to select your flight and pay

You will receive your e-ticket at the email address you provided at the time of booking your ticket.

You can check the flight status of your Korean Air flight by phone or online via KoreanAir.com. If you’re checking the flight status by phone, call the Korean Air office in your city or airport, and if you’re checking online, follow the steps below.

You can use the Find Trips tab to manage your Korean Air reservations online by yourself. The only pre-condition is that you should have purchased your ticket directly from Korean Air (website, mobile app, call center, or ticket office).

You can use the Find Trips tab to:

You can make advance seat reservations on Korean Air from 361 days to 48 hours before departure (24 hours before departure for First Class and Prestige Class. Below are a few important points to remember:

    • First and Prestige Class seats can be selected after flight reservation.

Important Information 

  • Passengers travelling with infants can use Bassinets free of charge.

  • Purchased seats with options can be changed within the same price, date, and flight. For other types of changes, you will need to cancel and repurchase your seat options. 
  • You can cancel and refund a paid seat up to 48 hours before departure.
  • You cannot cancel or refund a paid seat within 48 hours of departure unless your flight is delayed or cancelled. 
  • Emergency exit row seats/extra legroom seats are subject to restrictions. Also, passengers occupying such seats will be required to assist the cabin crew if there’s an emergency.

Wheelchairs

Korean Air offers a wheelchair service to passengers who have mobility issues due to a physical/mental disability, old age, or illness. 

  • You must request the wheelchair service in advance. 
  • You will be assisted from the check-in counter to the aircraft. After you arrive at the destination airport, you will again be assisted until you reach the arrival area inside the airport terminal. 

In-flight wheelchairs

  • Airline provided wheelchairs. If you’ll be requiring a wheelchair on board during the flight, you must for the service in advance by calling , the Korean Air Service Center in your area, or your travel agent.
  • Personal wheelchairs. You can transport your own wheelchair and walking aids free of charge on Korean Air.
    • If your wheelchair exceeds 122cm in width and  84cm in height, you must contact Korean Air Service Center in your area as it may be difficult to transport such wheelchairs on smaller aircraft like B737s. 
    • If you’re travelling with a battery-powered/electric wheelchair:
      • You must have all the technical details readily available with you.
      • Your wheelchair will be stowed in the cargo compartment per the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
    • Most airports allow passengers to check in their wheelchairs at the boarding gate and pick them up after arrival, but some airports don’t have this facility.
    • You can also request help to move if you’re using your own wheelchair. 

Onboard Breathing Devices

You can use a breathing device (such as a POC) onboard subject to the following conditions:

  • Notify the Korean Air Service Center at least 48 hours before departure.
  • Your breathing device must bear a label of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) or relevant authority showing that the test results meet the necessary requirements. 
  • In-flight power supply is not available for safety reasons. 
  • Equipment with dry/lithium batteries not exceeding 160wh (or less) is allowed.
  • You must carry battery supplies equivalent to at least 150% of your total flight time.
  • You must present a physician’s statement at the time of reservation if you’re using a portable oxygen concentrator (POC).
  • You may not be allowed to occupy an emergency exit row seat, bulkhead seat, and some aisle seats per FAA regulations.

Medical Assistance 

  • Korean Air provides medical oxygen and stretchers to passengers who need them.
  • At the time of reservation, you will need to present a Medical Information Form (MEDIF). It must be issued within 10 days before departure by a certified medical doctor. The following passengers must submit a MEDIF:
    • Passengers who are unable to use a standard seat. 
    • Passengers who require in-flight medical attention such as oxygen or injections.
    • Passengers who have recently undergone surgery or have suffered an external injury.
    • Passengers who suffer from serious or infectious diseases
  • If you require medical oxygen and stretcher services, you must request the services as within the timelines below:
