How to Book a Flight Online?

Follow the steps below to make your Allegiant flight booking online:

1. Go to AllegiantAir.com 
2. Enter/select the city names and your trip details
3. Then click on the Search button 
4. Go through the steps below:

1. Bundles (optional: choose a Bundle for 24% to 30% savings)
2. Getting Around (optional: choose a rental car) 
3. Travelers (provide the passenger details)
4. Seats (optional: select your seat(s))

After you’ve booked your flight online, you will receive an itinerary number by email. You will need to show this number at the airport’s check-in counter or use it to generate a boarding pass via AllegiantAir.com (or the mobile app). 

How to Book a Flight with the Mobile App?

You can book your Allegiant Air flight with the mobile app. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices. After you download the app, you will need to create a free account with Allegiant. 

After you’re done with this, simply enter your travel requirements, select from the flight options presented to you, finalize your options (such as savings Bundles, seats, baggage, etc.), and pay. Your e-ticket will be delivered to your app. 

How to Book a Flight by Phone

If you’re not comfortable booking online or with the mobile app, you can book your flight by phone. Just call and a dedicated travel expert will help you book a discounted flight, as well as plan out a full-blown travel itinerary for you. 

After you’ve booked a flight over the phone, you will be issued an itinerary number. You will need to show this number at the airport’s check-in counter or use it to generate a boarding pass through AllegiantAir.com (or the mobile app).

8 Money-Saving Tips 

1. Book your flight early because prices rise as more seats get filled. Allegiant usually announces their upcoming schedules 6 – 9 months in advance. If you’re sure about trip dates, booking this far in advance can get you flights for as little as USD 29. If you can’t book so far in advance, booking at least 1 month in advance can save you USD 60-plus per passenger.
2. Print your boarding pass at home to save USD 5 printing charges at the airport.
3. Pack smart—Allegiant allows only free 1 personal carry-on item (7 x 15 x 16in). Using space bags and wearing your heaviest clothes can help you travel without paying any baggage fees!
4. Use your debit card to save on credit card processing fees.
5. Bring your own food. Select food items are allowed, such as granola bars, sandwiches, small candy bars, etc. Bring an empty bottle and fill it up at Starbucks or MacDonald’s after security. 
6. Avoid purchasing a seat assignment—you’ll mostly get to sit with your group, anyway.

Allegiant Seat Reservation—FREE and Paid Seat Assignment

Allegiant offers you 2 options to customize your tickets:

1. Free Random Seat Assignment. Allegiant will randomly assign you a seat—at no extra charge. 
2. Paid Seat Assignment. Allegiant will assign you a seat of your choice—for a fee. This means you can purchase your seat before traveling by choosing where and with whom you would like to sit. 

How to Make a Seat Reservation on Allegiant

To reserve your seat on Allegiant, you will need to purchase a seat assignment. Seat assignments can be purchased online or by phone (). The earlier you book, the more the choice. 

You can book your seat later (online via Manage Travel) or by phone or the mobile app, or at the time of checking in (online or at the airport).

Tip. The best time to purchase your seat assignment on Allegiant is at the time of booking your ticket—because that’s when you have the maximum choice available to you. Plus, the later you choose or upgrade, the costlier it gets.

If you do not purchase your seat assignment:

• You will be randomly assigned a (Standard) seat free of charge during check-in
  (i.e., within 24 hours of your flight’s departure)
• You may be separated from your group
