The Air Canada Stopover option (currently suspended due to COVID-19) is available for all itineraries where the connection time between successive flights exceeds 6 hours. You can use Air Canada Stopover (starts USD 49 plus taxes) to stay in a hotel in a Canadian city (Toronto, Montréal, or Vancouver) at no additional fees.
To opt for the Stopover, you must book at least 96 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time.
If you’re booking online, select Air Canada Stopover (from the travel options) after choosing your flight.
