Singapore Airlines complimentary rebooking policy applies to tickets issued on/before July 31, 2022
In response to the COVID-19 situation, Singapore Airlines is offering complimentary rebooking for all flight tickets issued on or before July 31, 2022. If your ticket was issued on or before July 31, 2022, and you have not utilized your one-time waiver of rebooking fees, you have the option to change your flight date and/or flight time without being charged a flight change fee, as long as you pay the fare difference (if any).
You can also transfer any add-ons to your new flight, such as additional baggage, seats, etc. if you have already purchased them. Add-on deals you’ve purchased for baggage, seats, etc., will be refunded to you as they cannot be purchased.
The Singapore Airlines flight change rules allow you to make a one-time change for free if your ticket was issued on or before July 31, 2022, as long as you pay the applicable fare difference (if any).

Singapore Airlines offers a lot of flexibility to passengers who are changing their flight booking for free. You can book your ticket now and travel in 2023 if your ticket is reissued as explained below:
Step 1. Let’s say you book your ticket in September, 2021
You purchase your ticket in September 2021 with a travel date in December 2021.
Step 2. Then you decide to postpone your trip
You decide to postpone your trip to March, 2022 in October, 2021, because your trip is eligible for unlimited complimentary changes.
Step 3. You decide to postpone your trip again
You decide to postpone your trip again to August, 2022 in November, 2021, because your trip is eligible for unlimited complimentary changes.
Step 4. You postpone your trip yet again
You decide to postpone your and change your travel destination in July, 2022. Although your complimentary rebooking period is now over, you’re still allowed to make one free change after December 31, 2021. You will have to pay the applicable fare difference, depending on your new destination.
You will receive a new ticket based on your new itinerary with a new validity period not exceeding 12 months. This means you now have the flexibility to postpone your trip up to July 2023. Any changes after that will be subject to the applicable change fees.

What is the Singapore Airlines change fee?
The flight change fee charged by Singapore Airlines will depend on the fare conditions of your ticket. If your ticket does not qualify for a travel waiver, the flight change fees may be as follows:
You can change most flights on Singapore Airlines except Economy Lite fares. Flexi fares can be changed without incurring a flight change fee. Also, all flight tickets issued on or before July 31, 2022, can be changed once without incurring a flight change fee, as long as the free one-time fee waiver has not already been applied for them. However, you must pay the applicable fare difference if you change the flight date, time, and/or destination.
