Sun Country allows name corrections but not name changes. If the name on your flight ticket does not exactly match the name on your valid legal ID (passport/driver’s license, etc.), you can have it corrected either free of charge or for a fee, as explained below. Name corrections include spelling corrections as well as legal status changes—such as due to marriage, divorce, adoption, legal decree, etc.
- Flight-only tickets. If you book a flight-only ticket directly through Sun Country Airlines (online, call center, ticket office, or travel agent partner), name corrections are complimentary, i.e., free of charge.
- Flight + Hotel Vacation packages. If you book a flight + hotel vacation package, name corrections are permitted but a name correction fee may apply.
- Flight + Car Packages. If you book a flight + car package, you’re allowed to make name corrections but a name correction fee may apply.
Note: Name changes that involve a change of passengers are not permitted.
