Fare-Hold Reservations

Hawaiian Airlines Fare-Hold option allows you to book a one-way or roundtrip fare online via HawaiiAirlines.com and hold it for up to 7 days at the same price. The option is available only on flights operated by Hawaii Airlines and not on codeshare flights or HawaiianMiles award bookings.

Exception

You cannot hold a flight on a Main Cabin Basic fare, or if your date of travel is within:

  • 2 weeks for a flight to a neighbor island 
  • 3 weeks for a flight to North America 
  • 3 days for an international flight

Points to remember

  • Fare-Hold reservations are applicable per person during reservations. 
  • The Fare-Hold option fees are nonrefundable.
  • The Fare-Hold option fees cannot be applied toward the ticket price. 
  • You must ticket your Fare-Hold reservation within the date and time indicated or it will be cancelled on the expiration date by 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time.
  • Fare-Hold reservations cannot be changed. The only way to change is to cancel the reservation and rebook, which may result in a higher fare. 
  • You can hold only 1 Fare-Hold reservation at a given point of time—multiple reservations are not permitted. 
  • If you’re a Pualani Platinum or Gold member, you are allowed 1 complimentary Fare-Hold reservation at any given time.
