  • If you purchase a ticket to/from the U.S. 7 or more days before the scheduled departure time of your flight directly through French Bee’s website, you can cancel it without any penalty within 24 hours of purchase.
  • If your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed (i.e., by 5 hours or more), you have the option to:
    • Continue travel on the alternative flight offered to you, or
    • Cancel your flight, or
    • Request a refund in the form of a travel voucher, or
    • Request a cash refund in addition to a return flight to your first point of departure (if applicable)
  • If your French Bee flight departing from the E.U. (incl. a domestic U.S. flight) is cancelled (or delayed by more than 5 hours), you may be entitled to monetary compensation of €250 to €600 (depending on the flight distance) if:
    • You were informed of the flight cancellation within 14 days of departure, and
    • The flight cancellation (or delay) was due to reasons within French Bee’s control, and not due to extraordinary circumstances like bad weather, etc. 

Note. No compensation will be due if you’re offered an alternative flight with similar timings to your final destination. 

  • Cash refunds will only be made if your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed. However, if you cancel a non-refundable ticket, your refund will be in the form of a voucher.
  • Basic, Basic+, and Smartfarescannot be cancelled or refunded. However:
    • Basic+ fares can be changed for a fee.
    • Smart fares can be changed without paying any fee.
  • Only Premiumfares can be cancelled and refunded for USD 65 per flight. However:
    • You can make changes to Premium fares without paying any fee.
    • Tickets purchased before August 17, 2022, can only be refunded as non-refundable vouchers with 1-year validity.
  • Additional service fees and ticket issuing fees are non-refundable.
  • To cancel a ticket booked directly through a travel agent, you must contact the agent directly. 

French Bee 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

French Bee 24-hour cancellation policy allows you to cancel your ticket for a 100% refund if you:

  • Purchase a ticket to/from the United States, and 
  • You purchase at least 7 days before departure, and
  • You purchase online through the airline’s U.S. website at https://us.frenchbee.com/en, and
  • You cancel your ticket within 24 hours of booking

To cancel your ticket within the 24-hour window, you must send an email to refund@frenchbee.com, along with your full name, contact details (email, phone number, and address), and complete travel details, such as your booking number, travel date, and departure and destination cities.

You can cancel any type of ticket without penalty under this policy, including Basic tickets which are otherwise non-refundable.

French Bee Refund Policy

For tickets purchased with cash or check, the refund time is within 20 business days after you submit a complete refund request.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment minus the applicable service fee and/or airline-imposed charges applicable to your ticket. 
  • French Bee refund requests. If you purchased your ticket:  
    • From a travel agency, you must request a refund through the agency that issued your ticket. 
    • From French Bee, you can request a refund by email at refund@frenchbee.com.
  • Refunds will only be made to the person who purchased the ticket, or the person authorized by the purchaser to obtain a refund on his/her behalf. 
  • Refunds will not be made:
    • After a ticket’s expiry date. 
    • If you were denied admission by the transit or destination authorities or you’ve been returned to your boarding point. 
    • For tickets that have been stolen, forged, or purchased fraudulently.
    • For non-refundable tickets (unless in extraordinary cases, such as flight cancellations by the airline, etc.).
  • Refunds will be made in the currency that was used to purchase the ticket, subject to prevailing law. However, if French Bee agrees to refund in a different currency, the refund will be based on the exchange rate determined by the airline. 
  • Refunds will be issued by the carrier (or authorized agent) that issued the original ticket. 
  • Taxes and fees paid toward the passenger’s actual boarding will be reimbursed by the airline or its accredited agent if the ticket is no longer valid and has not been used.
